Excessive consumption of alcohol in your daily life is another form of substance abuse. Alcohol is easily available. Multi-disciplinary approach is one of the best and effective ways to treat and rehabilitate substance abuse, dual diagnosis and drug induced psychosis clients. The category of drugs used shows an increase in all types of drugs with Amphetamine-Type Stimulants (ATS) still remaining the most misused drugs in 2019. The trend of ATS type drug addiction is very worrying because the majority of ATS users are among the younger generation compared to the total drug abusers. The trend of ATS drug addiction has a detrimental effect on individuals especially causing them to have mental disorders while increasing criminal behaviours among them if the problem is not curbed.
